Dive into discovery at the South Shore YMCA Nature Center with our Oceanography Merit Badge course!
Led by our certified Merit Badge Counselors, this hands-on program offers Scouts the opportunity to explore the wonders of the ocean while completing all badge requirements in a fun and educational setting.
Scouts will investigate the physical and chemical properties of ocean water, examine marine ecosystems, and learn about careers in oceanography.
Check-in will begin at 12 pm with the Badge session starting at 12:15 pm!
Interested in the Geology merit badge? We’re also offering a Geology merit badge session in the morning for those looking to earn two badges in one day. You can register for both sessions and spend the day exploring the earth and sea in one unforgettable experience!
