Classic Nature Center Birthday Party
Enjoy the full Nature Center experience with this birthday celebration! Your party begins with exploration of nature center materials, including shells, rocks, crystals, and animal artifacts. Guests will meet our birthday party ambassador, Belinda the Box Turtle, and explore the Creature Corner. The group will head outside to meet some of our resident animals, including Rusty the Red-Tailed Hawk, Elliot the Great Horned Owl, and our friendly chickens. The celebration concludes indoors with plenty of time to enjoy birthday cake.
Garden Birthday Party (Available May – September)
This birthday party will be held outdoors surrounded by nature in our beautiful children’s garden! This outdoor party begins with an exploration of the garden, featuring a small waterfall, a pollinator garden, and seasonal fruits and vegetables. Guests will meet the chickens who call the garden home before taking a short walk to visit Rusty the Red-Tailed Hawk and Elliot the Great Horned Owl. The group will then head inside to explore our Creature Corner and meet local animals, including Belinda the Box Turtle. The celebration finishes back in the garden, where guests can enjoy birthday cake outdoors.
Dinosaur & Reptile Birthday Party
Perfect for young dinosaur and reptile lovers! This prehistoric-themed party begins with an exploration of dinosaur artifacts and prehistoric fossils. Guests will then meet some of the reptiles that live at the Nature Center while learning about the connections between turtles and dinosaurs. Next, the group will visit the garden to meet some true dinosaur descendants – our chickens! Guests will take a short walk to meet Rusty the Red-Tailed Hawk and Elliot the Great Horned Owl before returning inside to enjoy birthday cake.

- Includes up to 20 children (additional children may be accommodated for an extra fee with Director approval)
- Weather: Please remind guests to come dressed for the weather. We love getting outside no matter the conditions! If for some reason we can’t go outside, we’ll spend extra time visiting the animals that call the Creature Corner home and sometimes dive into a craft!
